I installed the Tapo S505D 2-pack in my hallway and bedroom, and setup was straightforward once I paired them with my Matter-compatible hub. The dimming range is smooth with no flicker at low levels, and the white finish blends well with standard wall plates. Being Matter-certified, they work across my ecosystem without extra bridges.
