I picked up the Tapo C236 2-pack to cover both my backyard and the baby's room, and it handles both well. The 3K 5MP picture is sharp enough to read a license plate, and the color night vision with spotlights is genuinely useful rather than a gimmick. Pan and tilt give full 360° horizontal coverage, so one camera watches a wide area. The IP65 rating means I don't worry when it rains. AI detection for person, pet, vehicle and baby cry works without a subscription, which was the deciding factor for me. Local and cloud storage options are handy. Setup was straightforward. Solid all-around camera for indoor and outdoor monitoring.
