I picked up the Tapo S505 to replace a basic single pole switch, and it works well with my existing setup. Setup was straightforward once I connected it through the app, and the Matter certification means it plays nicely with my smart home platform. The white finish blends in nicely with my wall plate. It responds quickly to voice commands and the app. Just note it's a single pole switch, so it won't work for three-way wiring. Solid choice if you want a reliable smart switch without overcomplicating things.
