I mounted the Tapo C400 on my back fence and it has been running without any cables, which is exactly what I wanted. The 1080P footage is clear enough to read a licence plate in daylight and the night view is decent too. Setup through the Tapo app took a few minutes and the wire-free design means I did not have to drill near a socket. Battery life will depend on how many alerts you get, so I turned sensitivity down a bit. Good pick for a garden or driveway.
