I picked up the Tapo H110 to tie my older IR devices into my smart home setup, and it does the job well. It acts as a hub for both IR and IoT devices, so I could finally control my air conditioner and a few other appliances from one place. Setup through the Tapo app was straightforward. Range is decent for a single room, though thick walls can weaken the signal. It's not a miracle worker, but for the price it's a solid bridge between old gadgets and a modern setup.
