I installed the Tapo D225 at my front door and it has been a solid upgrade. The 2K QHD live view with the starlight sensor is clear even at night, and the 4:3 head-to-toe 180° field of view means I can see packages on the ground and faces at the same time. I started wire-free using the 10000mAh battery, then hardwired it for 24/7 continuous recording. The included chime is handy, and the IP66 rating gives me confidence in bad weather. Smart AI detection for person, pet, vehicle and package works well and cuts down on false alerts. Local storage up to 512GB is a nice bonus. Setup was straightforward and it fits both wired and wireless setups.
